These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the vehicle rental services provided by Ecomax Car Rental (“Company”) to customers (“Renter”). By submitting a reservation request, the Renter is deemed to have accepted these Terms.
Ecomax Car Rental provides vehicle rental services subject to vehicle availability. All reservations made through the website or other channels are considered pre-reservations until explicitly confirmed by the Company.
All vehicles are covered by full insurance. In order to benefit from insurance coverage, an official police report or accident report must be obtained in the event of an accident or damage.
The following situations are excluded from insurance coverage:
The Renter must be at least 22 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
Payment is made at the time of vehicle delivery unless otherwise agreed. Vehicles are delivered in good working condition and must be returned in the same condition, excluding normal wear and tear.
All traffic fines, highway tolls, and bridge crossing fees incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the Renter. Such charges remain payable even if they are notified after the rental period ends.
Vehicles are equipped with license-plate-registered HGS systems. Usage fees are calculated upon vehicle return and charged to the Renter together with applicable VAT.
The Company shall not be held liable for delays, failures, or damages arising from force majeure events, third-party actions, technical issues, or decisions of public authorities.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. In case of disputes, Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts shall have jurisdiction, where applicable.
